This concludes my posting of identified Carles from Vol VIII of
these "Gravestone Inscriptions," from Columbia Co., NY, at the
DAR Library, in Washington, DC. I copied a number of pages with
unidentified Carle gravestones in these 2 Ancram cemeteries and
at West Taghkanic Methodist Cemetery (from Vol.II of the same
set of books) and will post them as I get the time/make sense of
them. If anyone gets a chance to spend a few hours with these
books at the DAR library I recommend them and I barely
had time to scratch the surface.
