I hope no one minds me posting on this matter.
But I have been searching Archives of many list.
I find it not as easy as I wish it would be .
Because often the title of the message is not clear in the Subject line.
Since all our messages go into the archives for us to find and search out for more
information.
It would be really neat and tidy and easy if when every one post a message they clearly
state in the subject line the surname or county or what the message really contains.
No guess work then .
I also realized if all the data we send back to people in the way of request would go into
the archives it may help some one later.
I am guilty of answering back to personal E-mails about request and some time even send
short parts of my family tree.
I think if I send it to the person and to the group that it was requested on and title it
with the surname of the family tree etc. it could help some one else in the future who is
searching archives or like me help some one who lost the message later and wanted the
information again they could just search the archives for it.
Then I realized also I want to choice my words carefully because they are being kept on
file for who knows who will read them.
Just my humble two cents.
