Hi Aggi!
I sent all I have in my last email and my head keeps spinning trying to
put all these pieces together.
I guess your theory could be right. There's obviously missing links
everywhere and maybe what you have, fits in perfectly if they are just
forgotten siblings. I guess after time its hard to think back several
generations and remember how many children there were in some families.
Especially given that a few generations ago it was fairly uncommon to
find a family with fewer than 4 children. Also given that most of our
live sources have failing and sometimes selective memories.
I don't know what to make of it. The names we all bandy about are the
same and we even talk about links to the same people but we can't quite
put our finger on the missing pieces of the puzzle.
I'm sure we will one day soon.
Ciao!
Eufrasia

Hi Euphrasia (since you and I are the only ones on this mailing list so far,
lol),
I think I have just figured this whole thing out. I have been looking over
notes I had corresponded with you before, as well as others, and from the
Ellis Island website.
My grandmother was Angelina Carideo, who was married to Sabino Giordano, and
they lived in Vineland, NJ. Researching Ellis Island, I found she had a
brother Guiseppe, who went to his brother in law, Giordano, in Vineland, NJ.
On the Abruzzo Italy message board, there was a message from a Joseph
Carideo, who was from Vineland, NJ, also a relative of Frank Carideo. In his
note he mentioned his grandfathers name was Guiseppe. He also stated that
his grandfather had two other brothers that he knew of Pasquale and Saverio.
In one of your old emails to me, I had emailed you about talking with someone
whose ancestor was Angelo Marino Carideo. You said you had fairly detailed
information on brothers of Angelo, by the name of Pasquala and Faustino.
This Guiseppe, and my Angelina, are most like more siblings of Angelo Marino,
Pasquale and Faustino, since they all have a connection to Frank.
What's your opinion ?
Aggi
PS, You mentioned having sent me the information you have on the Carideo's,
but you never sent it to me. I emailed you with information on Angelo and
others, and you were going to work them in, and send me the whole shebang.
Again, let me know if this makes sense.
