Many thanks Jonathon - I was led to believe that Emma died before my
grandfather came out here to Australia in around 1916 but this may not be
so - the plot thickens!!
Now I have something else to go on.

The Death indices show
CARGILL, Emma Death June Qtr 1931 West Derby 8b 460 aged 75
The 1901 census says age 45 so match is good.
