Hi Judy,
My grandfather, John M. Cargill, had done extensive research on this line and has passed
on to me lots of documentation about the Cargill line. In a manuscript "And The Tree
Grew" written by my grandfather's cousin, Millie Wolf in 1979, is written the
information about Julia. Derostus and Deleilah, my ggg-grandparents, would have been aunt
and uncle to Julia.
Derostus and his second wife Martha Patricia White had a daughter, Cicily, is written to
have the given name Julia Ann but she was born 1849. Perhaps she was named after your
gggg-grandmother.
I would be glad to send you a picture of some of the Cargill side. Derostus and Patricia
did migrate to Milam Co., Tx in the 1850's.
My gg-grandfather, Alfred Cargill son of Derostus, fought in the Civil War in Erath Co.,
Tx and his son, John cargill, married Jennie Bell Head from Erath Co. I beleive many of
the Cargills moved to that area.
Julia
