Hi Craig;
I was forwarded a copy of your recent posting. Could you email me a copy of your family
tree too? The only branch I have up-to-date data on is mine, the Beddington branch.
I would like to get information on the other existing (and extinct) branches wherever I
can, too. The male line of the Beddington Carews seemed destined to extinction even after
succeeding through a daughter's line twice. Ironically, there at are present enough
male descendants in our branch, who could have borne the name but for the illegitimacy of
out 3x great-grandfather, to ensure its continuation for a while yet. Incidentally, the
Carew line goes back a few generations beyond Gerald de Windsor; some claim we are
descended from the Dukes of Tuscany, others say we come from a Dane or Norseman living in
England in St. Edward the Confessor's time.
