Could this S. T. Carelock possibly be Samuel Thomas Carelock, son of
William
and Beatrice (Hamilton) Carelock and twin brother of William Adrian
Carelock? I do not have any known spouse(s) or children for Samuel Thomas,
but he died in TX. He was born 1844 in NC.
This is total speculation on my part, more research is definitely needed.
Good luck!

married Aug 5 1880 in Kaufman Texas. I believe that M.H Shive's parents
are
Martha McKnight and Philip Shives. Martha was a widow in 1880 living
in
Lawrence, Kaufman County TX (district 43). S.T and M.H. Carelock's son I
believe to be Edgar (Ernest) Alexander Carelock.
