My line is as follows:
Hans GERLACH & Anna Maria KUMMER through their son David CARLOCK/GERLACH &
Caroline through son Frederick Cornelius CARLOCK & wife then through their
son George CARLOCK, R.S. & Fanny Mildren PLEMONS then through Samuel A.
CARLOCK/CARELOCK Sr. & wife CAROTHERS through Samuel A.CARELOCK,Jr. & Hester
BROOKS through William A. CARELOCK & Beatrice G. "Beadie" HAMILTON then
down
to my great grandfather William Adrian CARELOCK & Bettie (Betty) Elizabeth
THREATT. Looking for firm documentation for William Adrian Carelock as s/o
William A. Carelock & then William A. Carelock as s/o Samuel A. Carelock. I
have seen this information in several places but do not have firm
documentation - Bible records, land records, etc.
Anyone that can supply more documentation on this line - I would be thrilled
to hear from you. I have submitted most of what I have to Susan Tillman and
she has posted it along with my sources.
Look forward to hearing more from all my
Carelock/Carlock/Kerlock/Gerlach/etc cousins! :-)

Did I get bumped off of the Carelock email list? I have not received
anything since October.

This might be a good time for a roll call. I will start with myself.
Please be sure to change the subject line of your postings from "Roll Call"
to something that would better describe your particular area of interest.
Please also make sure that the recipient of your posting is
CARELOCK(a)rootsweb.com instead of my e-mail address.
I am researching any and all CARELOCKs, regardless of race. I am especially
interested in those CARELOCKs who are descendants of George
CARLOCK/KERLOCK/CERLAUGH (1740 - ca. 1805) of Mecklenburg Co. and Cabarrus
Co., NC. My maiden name was CEARLOCK, pronounced like "CARELOCK." I am
descended from George's brother David CARLOCK (ca. 1739 - after 6 Jan. 1814)
who migrated from Mecklenburg Co., NC, to Warren Co., KY. My branch of the
family migrated to the Fayette Co., IL, area in the 1820s. I was born in
nearby Decatur, IL, but have lived in the San Antonio, TX, area for all but
4 years since 1972.
A privatized version of my CARLOCK/CARELOCK/CEARLOCK family report, titled
"Genealogy Report: Descendants of Hans GERLACH," can be found on my home
page. This report is searchable by clicking on the words "(View PDF)" which
follow the title of the report. Please let me know if you have any
additions or corrections to the information which can be found in this
report.
I also have a great deal of CARELOCK information in my database for
individuals of all races who either do not connect to the above-mentioned
family or for whom I have not yet found the exact connection.
Including myself, this list currently has 17 subscribers.
