I sent out a message to some folks that have Cardwell's in their web
data sites and this came back today, please read and look to see if you
have a connection.
Also....I am curious about something. Location, migration and
homesteading. Do you know where your Cardwell family came from, where
they went and where they sat themselves down? I know one part of my
line. VA>NC>TN>MO then the 5 children split up. They went to ID, WA, OR
and the rest of that generation stayed in MO.
If you can, share with the group - you never know it might help make a
connection.

Kay:
Thanks for the invitation to join in the CARDWELL hunt but I am not sure
that I can contribute anything of real significance.
The only CARDWELL ancestor currently being pursued by me is Robert
CARDWELL (b: abt 1746 or 1747, place unknown, d: February 18, 1839 in
Campbell County, Virginia)
He first married Elmina Meam//Meem//Means. Following her death in abt
1786, he married Alice Rucker (b: abt 1770 in Amherst County, Virginia,
d: aft 1839 in Campbell County, Virginia).
Everything I have on Robert CARDWELL can be viewed by you at:

If you have anything on him not shown in my report, I would very much
appreciate the information.
Regards,
Loris
