rick hello.
i haven't the time at the moment to go into great detail about your note but
i do want to clarify a couple of things. i was thrilled to see the marriage
note in our group. you too?
i am not researching any cardwell's in arkansas - do you know of any of our
family that went to arkansas?
and if you remember from earlier correspond. we know who caroline's parents
are. do you need me to send you that info again?
also i want to tell you that my folks have moved to prairie city and if you
ever want to head that way they would more than happy to show you around the
cemeteries, the homesteads and any other details you might miss if you din't
know the area.
my dad loves that kind of thing - my mom would feed you too : )
write me soon!
i have a photo of s j's son from his second marraige - walter cardwell. an
uncle gave it to me.
finding some neat stuff about that whole tangled web.
take care
kay
So there you have my connections to the Cardwells of Idaho. Ruth,
is
your cousin Myrna related to those in southern Idaho? Or to any of ours
in northern Idaho? In any case, I'd be happy to trade information with
you. Kay and I met online a couple of years ago. Our shared interest
is in southern Missouri/northern Arkansas and eastern Tennessee/western
North Carolina. Specifically we are looking for the parents of one
Caroline Matilda Cardwell of Rutledge, Grainger Co., TN, circa 1830 to
1870. She is the mother of the five people mentioned in Kay's letter
above. Welcome to our brick wall!
Well, that's enough for one letter. I'll save any more
comments/questions for next time. Thanks again for writing!
Rick
