Richard and group
Caroline Matilda Cardwell's mother was not Martha according to my
information, it was Sarah J Crowder who was married to Richard M Cardwell.
Matilda had a sister named Martha.
It gets confusing but thought I would clear that one up.

While they were in the Grainger Co. area, did any of them have a
daughter named Caroline Matilda Cardwell? Supposedly her mother's name
was Martha. Kay, our erstwhile listmanager and I would dearly like to
find Matilda's parents.

Matilda's oldest son (brother?) was named Richard.

Granted, there is little documentation on this line > YET, but what I have

Any information/documentation you would care to share would be greatly
