O.k. fellas, I'm beginning to slowly piece this all together and make sense
of it, but I need help.
1) Perrin Cardwell born 1808 in TN, son of William grandson of Thomas. Was
this Thomas, wife Martha Cardwell, or does he connect with them? I have
that he married a Louisa Norris. Is this correct? children henry, Mary,
William, Harriet, Elizabeth, Susan, and James off of the 1850 Grainger Co.,
TN census.
2)Is Perrin, son of Perrin and Catherine Cook the one who married Elizabeth
Ann Stone and moved to Green Co., AR? Children please.......
3) I assume Catherine and Christina Cook are sisters. Does anyone have
birth dates or parents names for them?
4) Richard Perrin Cardwell son of Richard C., and Susannah LeGrande. Was
his wife's last name Cardwell also, (Rebecca) or do we know??????
5) Did any Perrin leave a will?????? Could you send them to me. (address at
bottom).
6) Does anyone have proof that Thomas Perrin Cardwell son of Thomas and
Martha, was the father of Perrin Cardwell of Adair County. What made anyone
(me included) think this to be true? Thomas Perrin Cardwell died 7 Apr
1751. Do we know where he was buried to have obtained this date, or did he
leave a will?
7) Is there anyone with proof to document the disclaimer that Perrin of
Wilkes is not the same Perrin of Adair? The making of new counties (Surry
part of Rowan, and Wilkes taken from Surry in 1777). I think that we can
say with near certainty that Perrin in Wilkes is the Perrin who married
Sarah Cearly. Can we prove that the area he lived in changed with the
changing of counties? However, what's there to prove he is the same one who
ends up in KY, except that his sons are all born in NC?? I think we're on
to something here, but we need to continue putting our heads and resources
together.
8) Is there the same concensus that Thomas who married Martha Perrin was
the son of Thomas and Ann Bassett, and that this Thomas was the son of
Thomas and Mary Grace Spencer??? I do believe that Thomas (and Mary) were
the ones who came over on the ship Tristram and Jane in 1636. Does anyone
know if that's true or false???
9) Perrin Cardwell born 1793 VA, married 5 Dec 1814 in Hopkins Co., KY to
Mary Ann Ashby. WHO IS THIS DUDE????? who were his parents, siblings, and
children???
10) the Perrin who was born in the 1780's and lived in Claiborne Co., TN
until 1832 and went west. Son of John Cardwell. Who are John's parents? Did
this Perrin ever marry? Who were his siblings, wife, and children?
11) Is the Perrin who married Sarah Cearly really the son of John Cardwell
and Keziah Lowe? Can anyone prove it or prove otherwise? I believe John did
leave a will and named Perrin as one of his sons, but am I mistaken?
I think this is enough for now. It's nearing midnight. Time to sleep. Take
care, I'll look forward to your responses. Janel Woodbury 1026 E. 120 S.
