Has anyone else out there besides me noticed how many Perrins there are out
there? It makes researching the Cardwells difficult. Sometimes Perrin is a
middle name and a Thomas for instance may be referred to as Thomas Perrin,
Thomas, or Perrin in some records.
Are all Perrins from Martha Perrin, or did she have sisters or cousins who
married Cardwells, thus making the Perrin Cardwell problem even more
frustrating?
Anyhow, having said all of that, I am related to the Perrin Cardwell in
Adair Co., KY who had son George who married Avis Bishop. In my genealogy I
have that he is the son of Thomas Perrin Cardwell who is the son of Thomas
Cardwell and Martha Perrin.
I'm not sure of the validity of this line, as I have no spouse for either
Perrin or Thomas Perrin.
The line came from the LDS ancestral file. I am certain of my line to
George Cardwell and Avis Bishop. I have enough records to document this.
But back from George, I'm unsure of.
The one person who has opened my eyes to ask questions is Charles Rice
Bourland (thank you Charles). I certainly would like to connect with anyone
who has the proof of this line. Can anyone help me varify my connection (or
not?)
Thanks
