Dear Cardwell Researchers,
I've started the task of documenting the line of Thomas Cardwell of Granville Co., NC.
So far, I've done initial work on the following lines.
Leonard Cardwell -

Thomas Cardwell, Jr. -

William N. Cardwell -

John G. Cardwell -

The father - Thomas Cardwell of Granville Co., NC -

Still to go are Richard Wilson Cardwell, Dudley (James D. of Alabama -- highly probable
that he is "Dudley") and the daughters of Thomas and Mary of Granville Co., NC.
If you connect to any of these ancestors please take a minute and look over the
information on the webpages. Contact me with any additional information or corrrections.
These lines are a "work in progress" and I am drawing off a number of sources
for the material. There are still several unanswered questions concerning the children of
each of the above Cardwell men. Hopefully, we can solve some of them in 2007.
Another link of interest is the Tennessee marriages for Smith, Sumner, Henry, Rutherford
and Weakley Co.,TN

Please review it for any errors or additions.
As many of you know, I am the Admin for the Cardwell DNA Project. I'm happy to
announce that we have a living male Cardwell from this line that is taking part in the
project. The resuilts are due in about a month, but it should help to define the line of
Thomas of Granville.
I hope that you all have a great New Year and I look forward to working on these lines
with you in the coming year.
Sincerely,
Rand Cardwell
