JOSEPH CARDEN's Last Will and Testament ---
No. 724 of 1912 Will of Joseph Carden deceased. In the name of God Amen. I Joseph Carden
of the Borough of Avoca in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania laborer, being of sound mind,
memory and understanding do make my last will and testament in manner and form following.
I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Bridget Carden forever. all my property,
real personal and mixed, of what nature or kind soever, and where. soever the same shall
be at the time of my death. And I do hereby constitute and appointe my said wife Bridget
Carden sole exeutrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I Josephy
Carden the testator have to this my will written on one sheet of paper set my hand and
seal this 14th day of June A.D. one thousand nine hundred and ten. Joseph his X mark
Carden (Seal) Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Joseph Carden as
and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who have hereunto subscribed
our name!

John Webber Patrick B. Brogan Date of Death August 12th 1910 at 4 P.M. Register's
Office. Wilkes Barre. pa. Dec. 1912. 1912. Luzerne County, SS. This day before me
C.J. Gallagher register of Wills in and for the County aforeasaid personally came John
Webber and Patrick B. Brogan the subscribing witnesses to the above and foregoing last
will and testament of Joseph Carden late of the Boro. of Avoca Luzerne County and State
of Pennsylvania deceased who being duly sworn according to law do say that they were
present and saw and heard Joseph Carden the testator sign, seal, publish, pronounce and
declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament and
that at the time of so doing he was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of
thier knowledge and belief and that they did sign their names as subscribing witnesses in
the presence of each!
