Hi to All,
Just an 'all clear' message to thank you so much for all your
thoughts, concerns and prayers.
All is well here today. The sun is shining and power is back.
Now we can see the damage in Dothan isn't nearly what it was
just a few miles south, east and west of us... mainly bc/ of
tornados that raced through prior to Ivan's landfall on Wed.
night. I expect that some of you have had a lot of wind and
rain from this monster by now as well.
It's the folks in far western areas of AL and FL panhandle
(between Perdido Pass in Gulf Shores, AL and Pensacola, FL)
who really got the 'kick in the teeth' from Ivan. Many lost
everything, including cattle in their barns, whole cotton
and corn crops, their homes... in short, everything but their
lives, and bc/ of tornadic weather, sadly some lost that too.
As you're probably seeing on CNN today, folks in these areas
really need your prayers at this time.
