Trish, wonderful! Are you going to retain the hyperlink as in your
message, or change 1930 to 1900?
I am looking for a Frederick Carden, born 12 August 1865 in England, who
went to America when young. Probably an electrical engineer. Involved in
the laying of the first telegraph cable along the Mississippi River and the
electrical operation of mining equipment at Providence, Kentucky. Not in
Trish's list. Had a son, Frederick, perhaps born about 1909. Any ideas,
anyone?
Arthur Carden of Horsham, England.

Subject: [Carden] 1900 Census for the Carden surname
Hello List,
I have added a new webpage. It contains the 1900 US Census for the Carden
surname. Sorry I haven't had time to search and post the Cardin spelling.
Not all States were available but there are 1,620 names so far. They are
grouped by available State then by alphabetical order.
