Hi Elisa,
Thanks for the 'tip' on this one. I'll ck back in the list archives for the
'string' about it.
BTW, I ckd. both of the links [SEE BELOW] this morning and they're
both still active. If you'll notice the Ebay linkis so long that it extends
onto the next line, so you have to be sure the last numbers - 60319893833
are also included in the search link. Then you'll be able to see Winfred
Lloyd Carden's picture.
May All of the Blessings of Thanksgiving be Yours,
Martha

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone on the list knows anything about the following
male Carden who was a Minor League pitcher in the 1950's ? His stats
say he was born in Manchester, TN (1925).
Eddie mentioned that Ebay has Winfred Lloyd Carden's baseball card
is listed there currently, so I ckd. it out. I can see a real resemblance
to several of the Carden men in my line who also played Major & Minor
League ball abt. the same time. This Carden gentleman & those in my line
who played 'semi-pro' & 'pro' baseball in the decade or so after WWII
were all over 6' 2" tall.
Most Winfred (Winifred) Carden names I have in my CARDEN data are women.
Even though he went by Lloyd, not Winfred, this is the only man
I've found w/ Winfred as part of his given name.
