By one of those coincidences in which genealogy abounds, I have just finished
typing a chapter to be called (provisionally) Francis of Ireland for my
forthcoming: "Carden Family: Irish Branches book." Emily Edith Carden and
her marriage to Jones is mentioned, together with her 10 siblings, her
parents and grandparents (born in Ireland), and most of the Carden
descendants of her brother William J G Carden, born 1919. This William
bought a copy of my "Carden Miscellany 2" in 1971, but apart from that I have
had no communication with this family.
Please will Lynn phone the number you quoted and ask if they would like to
have a copy of my draft chapter. Not much help with Jones descendants I'm
afraid.
I am sending Lynn the draft chapter separately.

In case anyone may not know of the Teletext service, I get Family Tree on
page 268 on the Sky News channel. Channel 4, who stopped their service
some years' ago now has a new one, which I discovered by chance, on page 489.
There were 59 pages on this, all Brits. Sky, of course, covers many
countries and has about 20 pages. So far I have never found any of my
interests on Teletext, but I live in hope!
