None of the three brothers. But there are two Carden Cemetaries in Russell
Co. One is on land originally in the Thompson/Carden family and there is no
documentation who was laid to rest on this site. The other site is
documented. The earliest DOB for a Carden is 1838 and the earlies DoD is
1915.

Margaret,
Do you find any of the three brothers, William, Benjamin or Randolph
listed.

I have recently bought a book listing the people buried in cemetaries in
Russell Country, AL. by last name, DOB, DOD and if on the tombstone, the
relationship to another such as son of, wife of, etc. The book can be
purchased from:
The Genealogical Society of East Alabama
P.O. Box 2892
Opelika, ALl 36803-2892
The book is copyrighted so I can't copy the section on the Cardens, but I
can look up names.
