Jack,
The land transaction was in Pike Co. Ga. Actually, it was in Monroe, and
then, it was divided and the land was then in Pike Co. Ga.
Well, this group of Carden's were in Jasper Co. Ga., before going to Monroe,
and then Pike.
The info states that John Carden bought the land from a James Whatley in
1829.
I believe John Carden, is listed in the 1830 census for Pike Co. Ga.
When, was your James Carden in Jasper Co. Ga.?

I still am under the impression that my James Cardin of Virginia (1790)

later in Jasper county Georgia was a son of a John Carde(i)n. Where
