Becky,
This is very interesting. Please keep me advised of what you find out,
particularly in reference to this Benjamin. I do know that my Benjamin had
another brother according to James' census records but do not know his name.

Subject: Re: [CARDEN] Land Info
Mike, and Jack,
I am having something investigated to see if John Carden, had any estate
papers.
I have some info, that states that a Jesse Tanner had won Lot 123 District
7 in the 1821 lottery.
This is the land that my O.H.R. or Owen bought from Andrew Jackson Carden.
Also, adjoining Lot 123 was Lot 102 in District 7, and this land belonged
to Benjamn Carden.
They were both living in Whites Militia District in Jasper Co. Ga. at the
time.
Then, according to some info I've received, the land was owned by John
Carden, and he sold it to Andrew Jackson Carden.
The Jesse Tanner must not have taken up the land and it must have reverted
back to Ga., as John Carden, bought it from a James Whatley.
My cousin, and I have wondered, if the Youen and John were brothers, and
maybe the name Owen, might have been taken from Youen?
Its still a puzzle, but this maybe the biggest lead I've had so far!
Becky
