Hi Katy,
Thanks for your update. We're so glad you're safe. Sounds
like your last few days have been harrowing though.
Communications need to be improved during times of crisis such
as these. Most of us probably don't really know even yet about
the state of different sites in AL, GA & TN that recd. the most
damage from last week's storms.
My sister is in Decatur, AL & they just got power & phone back
yesterday, only bc/ they live in town. She said Decatur was spared
this time, but the areas around them look like they've been bombed !
They didn't even know abt. T.loosa & other badly hit areas in AL 'til
Friday bc/ of lack of communication. Over 100 cell phone towers
have been damaged in north AL. Their friends in Cullman lost a 135
year old historic home... antiques and all, but they had a basement to
run to and stayed safe <PTL>. Said they could hear the house explode
above them when the storm went over !
We need CB radio back again... !
Don't think that will happen... so, will y'all please report in when
you can?
Thanks,
Martha

I'm in southeast TN about 15 miles from Cleveland. As you know, Cleveland
was hard hit, but the storm missed us here.
Thank you.
Hugs, Kathy
