I'm so sorry about your DIL's mother Miss Bessie...
Yours is the first family Ive known that's lost a loved one in the
April 27-28 storms. I've been to Pratt City, AL in the past and am
saddened that it's completely wrecked; and that good folks have
lost their lives.
You came awfully close to being a storm victim yourself.

Hi Martha,
We are well. The path was about a mile NW of my house. Visited the area
Friday and the damage is extensive. My daughter-in-law's mother was a
casualty in Pratt City. The story and picture is on the front page of the
Birmingham News today.
