HI Trish and all,
Thanks for your concerns... all are ok here in Dothan (Houston Co.) area
of s.e. AL, but 35 miles west of here in Enterprise (Coffee Co.) they
weren't so fortunate. As you're all seeing on national tv today, the
devastation was tremendous in that area, and also in west AL - Wilcox
Co. area.
Please keep them in your hearts and prayers, esp. the families who lost
the 8 children
in Enterprise.
Blessings, Martha

Dear List,
If there are any on the list who have known Carden lineage in AL at any
time in the past, or present... there will be a day of gathering -
sharing of materials, and general fellowship - in Columbiana, Shelby
Co,AL this summer.
Please write to me offlist for details if you're interested in being
there, and you haven't heard about it by now. Several on and off
this list have already ex-
pressed an interest in being there. At this time we're shooting for a
Saturday date somewhere around the middle of August. Details aren't
firm as yet, but will be soon.
I haven't heard from the east AL listers as yet. If you have east and
central AL roots, you might want to plan to be there. Let me hear from
you if interested.
It should be fun, Martha
