Martha, as i am not staying at home right now and don't have access to my paper
files, i am having to use what little i have in folders on my computer.......
in the 1832-1863 Chancery Court Records
the case of John Carden vs Larkin Carden......1847
it mentions as witness , in 1849, Leonard Carden, age 66 and Larkin Carden Sr. , age 61
using that would make Leonard, born abt. 1781 and Larkin, abt. 1786 ( i believe this is be
my Reuben's father and his brother)
it does not say anything about age as far as John and Larkin Jr., the two brothers who
went to court against each other but we know they are brothers to my Reuben, one of the
names given in the record was Albert Grogan, John's brother-in-law.
then in another court record, filed 29 May 1869
Robert vs James, Jordan, Leonard , Execs of Larkin Cardin, died intestate 1866
so, i wish i could say for sure that the 1808 Larkin is Reuben's brother, but i
honestly don't remeber his year of birth and since there were so many Larkin's,
Leonard's, etc, until i get i chance to check my paper files and check the year of
birth i would not want to say yes or no......but if it is Reuben's brother, then the
older Leonard and Tabitha Peace were their parents.

RE: Larkin Carden (b.1808)
Barbara, would you & Elisa please verify the parents of this Larkin Carden
(b.1808)?
Since there are several Larkins in this family line, I want to be sure I'm
looking at
the correct one before going further This doesn't happen to be my direct
line so,
I always like to ck. to be sure I'm on the right line in such discussions.
Thanks, Martha
p.s. -- Did anyone see MD Sen. Ben Cardin (D) on Fox News this morning? I'm
wondering
if he's descended from one of the lines we discuss here?
You do know that the South didn't lose The War - we're just waitin' on
supplies ! ;)
