Thanks for the info. We had heard that James Elisha Carden died of a fever in Vicksburg
while In the confederate army, however no record could be found. This one is the wrong
spelling and our carden was in the GA Siege Artillery Battalion Regiment 28 Company T or I
?. so we can cross Cardin, William D. off our list to research.
