Chuck,
Thanks a lot.
I met this lady at the genealogy club meeting. Come to find out we are
distant cousins on my mother's side, whcih is Stephens.
When she saw my last name was Carden, she mentioned she had a Carden in one
of her groups.
So, I thought I'd check and see if anyone knew anything else about him.
I hope to see her Sat., at the genealogy meeting.
Becky Carden

Becky,
I have Leander as a son of Larkin Carden and Martha Elizabeth Honeycutt.
Leander was born about 1836 in Bibb County, Alabama. Date of death
unknown.
Dalresky Vandersuce (as I have it) was born about 1840 in Dallas, Blount
County, Alabama, died before 1873, married 2 June 1857 in Shelby County,
Alabama by Jacob Perry, JP. They had 5 children, Martha Jane, John Thomas,
Larkin, Emmaline, and Josephine. Martha, born 21 Mar 1858 in Shelby
County,
Alabama, , Talladega County, Alabama, died 9 Nov 1935 Sylacauga County,
married James Wesley Willis.
That's all I have.
Chuck

I hope this goes through.
I'm trying to find information on a Leander Carden. I don't have much
information on him.
I know he was married to a lady, whose maiden name was Vanderslicer. I
think her first name Darliscky, or something like that.
They were said, to be Shelby Co. Al.
Martha, would you know anything about him, since weren't yours from Shelby
Co.?
Thanks,
Becky Carden
