Wonderful to have our own mail-list! I have no idea who you are,
Jim Danforth but bless you! (How much is it costing you, and should
we be sending you some cash?)
Those who visit Lisa/Mark's web site "Carden Roots" at
http://www.dakodadesigns.com/carden.htm will probably know
that we had a wonderful Carden Gathering here in England last
September at the village of Carden in Cheshire, with 150 family
members from nine countries including USA, Australia,
Argentina .... A report and video will soon be available and there
are plans to set up a Carden Society with a newsletter.
I will be very glad to hear from anyone with identified origins in
England or Ireland and try to find them in my data base.
Those with links to Co Mayo in Ireland may like to know that I have
parish register extracts for Cardens from almost all the parish registers
in that county and thanks to Bud Burge for some in Co Mayo.
Good hunting, everyone!
