Santa gave me a copy of "Trace Your Roots with DNA" by Megan Smolenyak and
Ann Turner, ISBN 1-59486-006-8. Paperback, not very expensive, the first
"popular" book on the subject. I recommend it to anyone interested in DNA
and Genealogy, and it will influence my next report on the Carden DNA
Project (now somewhat overdue). Ann Turner runs the GENEALOGY-DNA list at
Rootsweb, and I am a great admirer of hers. One of us (sorry, forget who)
obtained an mtDNA analysis, which is of most interest to the female side,
and will find that the book is pretty good on that subject.
I am sorry to say that "DNA and Family History" by Chris Pomery, ISBN 1
903365 70 8, published very recently on this side of the Atlantic, is not
quite as good in my opinion, which surprises me as I am also a fervid
admirer of Chris Pomery, as some of you know.

Thanks, Arthur. I'm one of those who got the mtDNA test.
Think I'll ck. out Amazon the 'Trace Your Roots' books.
