Well, I've tried numerous times to find who my Carden's belong to but I'm not
giving up, so here they are again for a repeat performance!
I'll start with myself, and work backwards:
Rebecca Elaine Carden b. 1951
Frank Owen Carden, b. 1923
Escar Lincoln Carden, b. 1900, d. 1986
Owen Hendrix Carden, b. 1862, d. 1909
O.H.R. or Owen N.K. Carden, b. 1820, d. 1862
My O.H.R. Carden was born in Ga., and he was in Pike Co. Ga., as early as 1839. He married
Nancy McLeod in Pike Co. Ga. in 1843. They were Tallapoosa Co. Al. as early as 1860, and
maybe earlier. He died in 1862 during the Civil War.
Their son, Owen Hendrix, was born 1862 in Tallapoosa Co. He married Susan Ella Beaird and
he died in 1909 in Chambers Co. Al.
Their son Escar Lincoln was born and died in Chambers Co. Al.
My dad, Frank Owen Carden, was also born in Chambers Co. Al.
I was born in Randolph Co. Al.
Everyone seems to think my O.H.R., connects up with other Carden's over in Pike Co.
Ga., but I have yet to determine which one he connects with, nor has anyone else. He
bought land from an Andrew Jackson Carden in Pike Co. in 1839.
This is my Carden story!
