CARDEN, VANDALEE TURNER - 93, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, May 25,
1999
at her residence. She was born December 30, 1905 in Anderson County,
Tennessee. She was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church. She was
retired
from The Anderson County School System. She is preceded in death by
husband,
Clay Carden; parents, Alfred and Mary Elizabeth Turner; brothers, Glenn,
Earl
and Joe; sisters, Minnie Hamilton, Pearl Abner, Irene Duncan, Bessie
Turner
and Magdalene Turner. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Neta and Barry
Luallen of Clinton; grandson, Bradley Luallen and wife, Jennifer, of
Hendersonville, TN; nephew, Brent Turner and wife, Faye, of Knoxville;
great-nephews, Terry Turner and wife, Regina, and son Jared, of
Knoxville,
Steven Turner and wife, Stacey, and daughter, Mollie, of Knoxville;
brother,
Ulyss Turner of Clinton; several nieces, nephews and many friends; also,
beloved pet, Princess, her dog. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 27,
1999 at
Cox-Martin Funeral Home. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27,

following visitation in Cox-Martin Chapel with Rev. Brian Courtney, Rev.
