Hello,
Thanks, I think that your suggestion is awesome.
I only started working on the family tree in Nov 06. At this point, I
have not ventured away from the Card line, but it must be time. The
maternal like is just as significant as our paternal heritage.
I look forward to further discussions.
Linda

Dear Linda
I see you have a BRIGGS and a GARDNER/ GARDINER in your list.
Both these names occur in my family. If you are interested we could be
in touch. The Briggs name from around London 1830's and the GARDINERS
from around Gloucestershire.Of course like the CARDS there are loads of
these families probably all connected at some point.
Best Wishes
Josie SNOOK nee CARDE

Subject: [CARD] Card searching
Hello,
My line goes back to England and immigrant Richard Card, born in
England
and first found in Newport, RI abt. 1652. I would love to find a
connection in the UK to extend the family line beyond 1598.
Growing up, we never knew any other "Card" families and it is good to
find out that we didn't drop out of the sky. We actually have roots!
Every piece of the puzzle is an education.
(Richard and Rebecca Stanford, James and Ruth de Havens, Peleg and
Rebecca Dolover, William and Mercy Briggs, Jonathon and Sarah
Matteson,
Jonathon and Hannah Matteson, Joshua and Susan Gardner, Joshua and
Angeline Closs, William and Bertha Beckwith, Lewis and Muriel
Ferguson,
Lewis and Berdella Burch, and self).
Jill, I searched at your web page. It is awesome and a true work of
art.
I know that you enjoyed the progression.
