Hi Jim & Di,
My grandfather, John Carberry, was born in 1880 in Maryhill, Scotland to Patrick Carberry
b. 1856 IRE & Nancy/Annie McAloon b. 1857 IRE.
Annie died 1887 leaving 5 children (all born Maryhill)
Ann b. 1878
John b. 1880
Mary b. 1882
Edward b. 1884
Daniel b. 1887 (5 months when mother died)
1891 census has Patrick with 3 children, Ann, John & Mary living with in-laws Charles
& Catherine Cullen
1901 census Patrick in Stirling workhouse, Ann is domestic servant in Rutherglen, John had
joined the A & SH, was in Boer War then married my grandmother, Hannah Fee and Mary
married.
Need help in finding Edward b. 1884 and Daniel b. 1887
Would also love to find any living descendants of this family since my grandfather John
died in 1909 age 29, my grandmother remarried and there was no further contact with the
Carberry family.
Wish to thank Sharon Carberry who was a great help to all of us for many years.

We just wanted to encourage you all to make use of this list in your family
searches. A large number of Rootsweb lists have been made inactive due to
no messages over a period of time.
We want to keep as many lists active as we possibly can and your
participation will help toward that goal. If you have a "brick wall" in your
family search, send in a message with as much information as you have and
let's see if someone may be able to help fill in those blanks.
Best wishes,
Jim and Di
