Sent to me was the info for Christopher Carberry, who arrived in
Philadelphia 4 Aug 1817 aboard "The Emma Matilda."
Port of Departure - Dublin, Ireland. Arrived with a trunk and a valise of
wearing apparel.
Anyone have this Christopher in their family lineage?
No others of the name on the passenger list.
Could there be a family link here? I know I'm reaching, but could the Pa.
Carberry have been an uncle/namesake for our Christopher?
Were the Carberrys from Co. Kildare, as was Julia McDonald, Christy's
wife?
