Hello Erin. Nice to meet you. My grandmother was Ada Carbaugh, born 1879
in Grayville, Illinois. Her mother and father were Henry Carbaugh and Mary
E. Smith Carbaugh. Just a quick note to say howdy. Will post more later.

Subject: [CARBAUGH-L] Admin Intro
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself...I'm Erin. I assumed Admin duties of the
CARBAUGH List this week.
My CARBAUGH research goes back to JOHAN GEORGE CARBAUGH (no info) married to
MARIA CATHARINA MARTS (no info), my 8th gr-grandparents.
Their son, GEORGE WILLIAM (no info) married ANA EVA TRAPPER (no info).
Their son, JOHANNES "CHRISTIAN" CARBAUGH, SR. was born 6 Sep 1737 in
Puderbach, Germany. He married twice...I descend from his first wife,
JULIANNA. Christian died 2 Oct 1813 in Franklin Twp, Adams, PA. Their
children were: Christian Jr., John Jacob, Eva Catharine, Catherine Rachel,
Martin H., *Eva (my line) and Christiana.
My CARBAUGH line descends thru LAUVER(LAUBER,LAWVER,LABER) -> COOL -> RILEY
-> DILLMAN -> SHEALER(SCHULER) -> CULP -> McCLEAF -> BOLLING.
Good Researching,
Erin
