Subject: Carrowen in 1860 Beaufort Co. Census
Folks,
I'm in the process of transcribing the 1860 Beaufort County Census.
On page 403A, Goose Creek District, there is the following:
Carrowen, ------- 25 M W Farmer 400/100 NC
Carrowen, Malissa 23 F W
Carrowen, Victoria 16 F W
Carrowen, Sarah 1 F W
There is no first name given for this Carrowen. If anyone knows who this
Carrowen may be, please let me know. Thanks,
John
PS - We are also about half way through transcribing the 1830 Beaufort
County Census. When they are done, we will have transcribed all between
1790 thru 1860, except for 1840. That will be next, then the 1870 and 1880
censuses. I will let all Hyde, Beaufort and Pamlico researchers know when
each census is online.
