Thanks for your information which is based on your research. There some
persons in Hyde County who will faint at the whispered mention of the
possability that William Carrowon, the son of John Carrowon of Dorchester
County, Md was married more than once. Now you are stepping forth a premise
that Aime Green might have been married more than once and that her "blood"
last name .was not Green. A relative is comming to look my data over next
week and he will be taken aback not knowing the full particulars of some
great great great Grand mother. Claud.

AMY (UNKNOWN) GREEN HARRIS CARROWON
When David Green wrote his LW&T 21 Dec 1780, he left son Ezekiel Green 50
acres whereon he lives.
.Ezekiel Green's LW&T 17 Dec 1783 left Anny Stokes the land whereon he
lived after the life of his wife. Jessey Harris proved this Nuncupative
Will in Feb 1784.
Amey Harris quit claimed her dower right/title to the land belonging to
the Estate of Ezekiel Green, Decd to Anne Stokes on 12 July 1787 (DB C, p.
207. This deed was witnessed by William Watson and William Carrowan. The
property was on the Southeast side of Mattamuskeet Lake.
This means that Amey was married first to Ezekiel Green and after his
death to a Unknown Harris, then to William Carrowan. She cannot be the
Mother of Green Carrowan.
