He has no real resting place. They never found him from what I have been
told.
He died at the Battle of Eastport, I think. in Corith, Mississippi.
His wife remarried

More importantly to some of my current research is material to fill in
the Regimental History of the 120th Illinois Infantry. If Charles
CARIKER that you mention is the same as the Charles CARIKER that served
in the 120th Regiment, I would be very interested in some biographical
