'siyo Linda,
My -- Alaska! That is a loooong way from NWoHIo [The Great Black Swamp
(two centuries ago)].
Charles is a common name in my family history. There was a Jacob and a
Wilson Cariker/Carriker/Carraker in Company C, 120th Illinois Infantry.
Andrew Karcher was in Company D. Karcher is/was a variattion spelling
for KARRAKER in centuries ago. Then there was Charles, who also was in
Company C, 120th Illinois Infantry. I know nothing further at this
time. These gentlemen were from the Union/Johnson county areas of
Little Egypt.
What is your CARRIKER/CARRAKER/KARRAKER background? And, is Charles
CARIKER one of your family?
Sgi,
Bill Oliver
