I found three things in my files and would like to share with others.
1.
A copy from the DAR File Folder of John CAPPS:
Indenture between John CAPPS and wife Margaret or VA.
14 August 1782, Deed Book. 18, page 105
Three pages of the original hand written document.
(Black background with white writing. Microfilm copy.
Will be difficult to type, but I can try to xerox if someone
wants this.)

2.
From the DAR (DC) file folder of:
John CAPPS about 1730-1785 of
Princess Anne Co., VA.
The following I have typed from copies of 2 pages of "modern"
handwritten notes that were included in this DAR file folder:
"Records of the Capps family found in:
1. The Compendium of American Genealogy: First Families
of America, Vol.5, p. 10?, edited by Frederick Adams 1933,
Vickers Press.
2. Records, Va. CO. I, 167.
3. "VA Vetusta" p 131.
4. "Cavaliers and Pioneers" pp. 6, 21, 70 ?, 80?.
5. Hotten's "Persons of Quality" p 193 ?, 186/7.

3.
I found the will of John CAPPS and copied from the DAR files in DC.
I do not think that it will scan as it is a microfilm copy with the black
background and white writing. But I will be glad to "xerox' and mail to you.
This not a copy of the original handwritten will, but from a typed paper and
not the best quality.
You may already have it, but here it is anyway:
Will of John CAPPS that I had copied from the DAR file folder in DC.
Will Book1, page 21.
Dated in the last line of the will is" August 12, 1784."
Proven Princess Anne County July the 8th day 1874.
(Can anyone explain the long interval between the will date and
the proven date?? I checked the typed document and I did correctly
transcribe from what I had. Did the original typist make a typo??
Or is the long interval correct?)
