Hi:
I'm pasting an article below from this week's Ancestry News - weekly
version.
I find this almost unbelievable - closing the state library of Florida.

HELP SAVE THE FLORIDA STATE LIBRARY AND ARCHIVES
The Florida State Genealogical Society has uploaded a brand new
website with the society's response to the Florida Governor Jeb
Bush's plan to eliminate the State Library.
It includes up-to-date information and can be found at:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~flsgs/statelib.html
Time is very important to the people of Florida and across the U.S.
Every library in Florida will be affected by this, as will any
library outside of Florida that requests an interlibrary loan from
Florida.
We are desperately trying to save our State Library and Archives and
we must have your help. E-mail, call, or fax every legislator. Go to
the meetings in Tallahassee. Pass this message on to everyone
immediately.
