Peggy, I have several pieces of information that I can not confirm. The
first is that P.T.B. CAPLES father was a William CAPLE B-2/8/1818, in
Middle TN.D.3/1862 In Memphis., also that his mother was a Julia GILBERT
B-3/10/1821,D-9/10/1900 This Info comes from WFT. The second that
P.T.B.CAPLES Parents were Father a Littleton CAPLE-No Dates, and Mother was
a Mary S.S. CAPLE ( Madden Unk.) This information comes from other members
of the CAPLE family in Texas. I am leaning in the direction of the Second
Scenario.

Thanks for the name Phillip Terrell Burford Caples. I think these are my
people. In 1850 P T B has a B D Caples age 26 living with him in Gibson
Co.
Benjamin D Caples married Nancy Johnson in 1852 . In the 1860 in
Shelby
Co.
Delbert and Nancy have a William T. who I think is my
Grandfather's
stepfather. He married Sarah A. Evans in 1876. P T B are still in Shelby
Co.
in 1870. If you have any info on William I would love to know about.
Peggy
