Here are the only two Capeharts listed in the 1830 census for NC who have 5
year old girls. Well, Samuel in Burke County does too, but he was from SC and
only in NC for that one census.
If you could account for the children of one or the other of these men, you
might find Adelia's father by process of elimination.

Hertford Co, Roll 121
p. 412 Capehart, Trustum 000011 11001 4 slaves
Although, in 1840 there are a couple of other contenders:

p. 103 Charles Capeharte 0012001 120001 3 slaves 4 engaged in
agriculture
Hertford County
p. 64 Copeheart, FM 100001 21001 1 slave 1 free colored
person age 55-100
Jonathon is missing from my census records for 1840 and if Trustum is T
Capehart, then he didn't have a daughter the right age in 1840.
