Pat, your family line looks like it is based on the research that I have
done on the Missouri Capeharts. However, I could never find Frederick's father
other than to speculate that it was John. But I had no information on where
John was from. Where did you get your information that Frederick's father was
John Capehart of Bertie County? I had identified 3 different possibilities for
his father, but could not narrow it down beyond those three.
And, Sharon, if the DNA results point to your line being related to Martin's
line, perhaps they link up at the unknown ancestor. If Martin's line comes
from Ohio, maybe they are tied into the Philip Capehart family which lived in
both Ohio and West Virginia (in the border counties).
