Believe our CANTWELL dilema is solved.
1860 Fed Census, Blairsville Borough, Indiana Co PA, page 18. Enumerated 4 Jun 1860,Line
11, dwelling 133, family 127:
T. J. CANTWELL, 36, m, Physician, $400, $500, PA
Annie, 33, f, MD
Mary, 11, f, PA
James R., 7, m,PA
Annie F., 7, f, PA
Catharine S., r, 1, PA
T. J. probably the baptismal sponsor mentioned in previous post. Maybe BROWN/CASSIDY
family's physician?
1860 Fed Census, Burrell twp, Indiana Co PA, page 31, P.O. Blairsville. Enumerated 6 Jun
1860. Dwelling 325, family 229:
J. A. STILLINGER, 59, m, Roman C. Clergyman, $0, $200, MD
Mary McAFEE, 48, f, PA
Mary A. GEORGE, 40, f, Mulatto, Servant, PA
Susan E. CANTWELL, 18, f, S. Carolina
Fr. STILLINGER was the clergyman of record for many BROWN/CASSIDY family baptisms,
marriages, etc.
Most likely the CANTWELL middle name (Albert Cantwell BROWN (1851 - ?) was in honor of Dr.
CANTWELL and/or his family members who acted as godparents for BROWN/CASSIDY children.
Proably no relationship.
