Maggie M(ay) Cantrell
Maggie M. Cantrell age 85, of Austin, died Thursday, June 127, 2004.
She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. She was a
Dedicated Christian, loving mother, grandmother, sister and faithful friend
to everyone. She loved cooking, enjoyed playing games and welcomed the
opportunity to help anyone in anyway she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and a granddaughter.
Mrs. Cantrell is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles Cantrell; sons,
Charles Cantrell and wife, Geraldine of Leander, Jerry Cantrell of Kingsland,
And Wilford Cantrell of Austin; daughters, Edna Maynard of Austin, and
Patricia Cloud of Ft. Stockton, Tx; brother, Thomas Franklin Woods of Lake
Travis; sister, Vina Milam of Austin, Vena Wallace of Pflugerville and Rena
Lou McGee of Seguin; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 20, 2004
at Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2004in the C9olonial Chapel of
Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Bagdad Cemetery.
