Claudia Charmie Tatum, 60, of East Brainerd died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001.
A native of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Tatum had lived in Chattanooga since
1976 after spending 19 years in LaGrange, Ga. She was a member of Heritage
Baptist Church and was secretary and treasurer of Volunteer Business Systems.
She was a member of the Sunnyside OES #359.
She was preceded in death by her father, Theoffice George Cantrell.
Survivors are her husband, Joseph F. Tatum; sons, R. Dean Tatum, Marietta,
Ga., David Myrick, Chattanooga, and Raj Madan, Chicago, Ill.; daughter,
Kimberly Tatum, Chattanooga; mother, Shirley Cantrell of Chattanooga;
brother, George H. Cantrell, LaGrange, Ga.; sister, Lariane Percy,
Chattanooga; eight grandsons; several nieces and nephews. Services will be
held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. James H. Wright
and Rev. Terry St. John officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory
Gardens, East. The family will receive friends today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.
