Steve,
You didn't supply us with any dates but a quick look at the Marshall Co. AL
1880 census shows the following:
William CANTRELL Self M M W 56 SC Occ: Farmer Fa: NC Mo: SC
Margaret E. CANTRELL Wife F M W 41 GA Occ: House Keeping Fa: SC Mo: GA
Thomas J. CANTRELL Son M S W 17 AL Occ: Farmer Fa: SC Mo: SC
Hope that helps.
Johnny

Subject: Help If You Can
Cantrell Group,
I am very much a beginner at this ancestor game but just maybe
someone
has some answers for me. We seem to have a lot of president names in
our
line, wishful thinking I suppose, or maybe from a time when Presidents
really
were honorable. Don't laugh at the names to much I can't do
anything about
it
I wasn't there. (lol)
The line goes like this: My great grandfather was "Thomas Jefferson
Cantrell" My grandfather was "Benjamin Franklin Cantrell" he went by
Bennie.
My father is "Woodrow Wilson Cantrell". I have not been
able to get back
past
Thomas J. Cantrell does any one have more information on my line of
folks?
The family had a home stead in Marshall County Alabama.
Thanks for any information.
Steve
