I live in small town and depend on online info. That is my main resource.
I do not have access to census records with index. If you have census
records to share or know of any online that are indexed, please let me know.
I wear bifocals & it is a pain to search the census sheets line by line that
have been copied and posted on net. Most are hardly readable. I have sat til
2 AM searching.
Miles Standish Cantrell ( my husbands GGGrandfather) was born march 1835 MO.
I believe Miles was with William Cox ( my GGGGrandfather) family in Fannin
Co TX about 1837.
Have not found Miles in 1840 Census. Anyone help?
Thanks, Sherry Cantrell, Sabinal, TX
.

Hello Marion Co. Cantrell Researchers,
Sounds as though the general consensus is to keep the discussion on the
list. Why don't we all take stock of our Marion Co. Ancestors and where
they
fit into the lines. We could pool our sources and get a lot more
done
faster. I am also interested in the Cantrell's that moved to Arkansas from
that area. There are several families there. I know that my ancestor
Alfred
son of Elijah is located on the 1850 Sevier Co. AR census. I know
that
several Cantrell's moved into that area and was wondering if there might
have been one big migration at about the same time for them all. Anyone
have
any suggestions or information that they might want to share in that
regards.
